What is a processing fee?
If you aren’t approved to work directly with a particular title or escrow company, you may be able to handle a signing through Signature Signings—provided Signature Signings is approved with that company and you meet the applicable requirements.
Signature Signings is approved with most of the nation’s top title and escrow companies.
For example: A Realtor or lender wants you to handle a signing with a title or escrow company where you aren’t an approved notary. If Signature Signings is approved with that company and you meet the applicable requirements, the signing may be handled through Signature Signings. A processing fee applies based on your membership level.

This fee is separate from your monthly membership dues. It applies to qualifying signings handled through this arrangement, rather than every signing assigned to you.
These are your clients. You choose what to charge them. Signature Signings deducts only your applicable processing fee from the amount you charge your client, then issues you payment for the difference.
For example: If you charge your client $150 and you’re a Signature Signer Pro member, Signature Signings deducts the $15 processing fee and issues you payment of $135.

Community and visibility
Connect with other notaries in the Signature Signings Community, ask questions, share experiences, and follow updates. Your completed profile may be visible to participating signing services, subject to platform and eligibility requirements. Visibility does not guarantee an order.
How your profile receives Vetted status
You must pass the Signature Signings vetting quiz to receive Vetted status on your profile. Subscribing to the $4/month Signature Signer plan alone does not grant this status.
With a Notary Order profile and a passing quiz result, you rank higher in the Signature Signings search engine than notaries who have not met both requirements. Vetted status remains separate from title and escrow approval and Preferred status.
Title and Escrow Approval Application
Paid members receive priority processing for the Title and Escrow Approval Application submitted through Signature Signings, subject to required information and partner requirements. Complete and sign the application so it can be reviewed. You must receive the required approval before you are eligible for opportunities from title and escrow clients that require it. Without that approval, you are not eligible for those opportunities. Membership and passing the vetting quiz do not replace client approval or guarantee assignments.

You have a Notary Order profile.
Vetted
You have passed the Signature Signings vetting quiz. With a Notary Order profile and a passing quiz result, you rank higher in the Signature Signings search engine than notaries who have not met both requirements.
Approved
You have a Notary Order profile, have passed the vetting quiz, and have submitted the Title and Escrow Approval Application and received title and escrow approval.
Preferred
You have completed all required onboarding steps, including submitting the completed Title and Escrow Approval Application, and are an active Signature Signer Pro member. Your profile ranks highest in the Signature Signings search engine. Opportunities from title and escrow clients that require approval remain unavailable until that approval is confirmed.
Eligible signings you accept are automatically assigned to you, with guaranteed fees of $90 for out-of-office seller signings and $100 for out-of-office buyer and refinance signings.
Membership and onboarding labels are separate. Membership does not replace a passing quiz result or required client approval. Preferred status combines completed onboarding with an active Signature Signer Pro membership. No number of assignments or amount of income is guaranteed.
Costs and limits
The subscription is $4 per month. A $40 processing fee applies per qualifying direct signing facilitated through Signature Signings. Education Center training and Pro opportunity benefits are not included. Processing fee explained ⓘ
